The Sioux City, Iowa-based tanworld franchise has opened five new locations—two salons in Wisconsin, two salons in Nebraska and one salon in Virginia.

The Madison, Wis. and Fitchburg, Wis. locations are owned by Wade and Jennifer Teslow of Dubuque, Iowa. The Teslows’ have six other salons across Iowa and Wisconsin.

The Grand Island, Neb. and Omaha, Neb. locations are owned by Curt and Amy Bowen of Lincoln, Neb. The Bowens’ also own seven other salons across Nebraska—three salons in Omaha, two in Lincoln, one in Kearney and one in Hastings.

The Winchester, Va. location is owned by Joshua and Art Cohen, and is the first salon for the father and son team.

These five new locations bring tanworld’s franchise total to 50 salons throughout nine states, with others currently under construction. Cheri Cosgrove, president and founder of tanworld, said that the five new additions to the franchise will offer an upscale tanning experience and feature an exquisite line of skincare products manufactured by MR International.
